Founded in 2000, the Queens Library Adult Learner Program is a division dedicated to adult education. Our programs are available to anyone aged 18 and older and it is our priority to provide a welcoming and safe learning environment to anyone and everyone.
Our five adult learning divisions provide coordinated formal and informal education such as ESOL classes, TASC exam preparation and Adult Basic Education classes. These programs are also designed to help students master fundamental computer skills. Finally, we offer case management services such as resume and cover letter support, job search assistance, citizenship preparation and more. Our mission is to help patrons develop the skills they will need to be successful in all aspects of life.
Our services are available at the following 6 locations: Elmhurst, Jackson Heights, Long Island City, Flushing, Peninsula, and Rochdale Village.
